Actively charging definition

Actively charging means the time during which the connector from the charger at a charging station is inserted into the inlet and electrical power is being transferred for the purpose of recharging the electric vehicle’s on-board batteries.
Actively charging means electric charge is being transferred from the charging equipment at the electric vehicle charging bay to the motor or battery of the electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle and the motor or battery is not yet fully charged;

  • Charging Period means the charging period applicable to Customer’s Service, as specified on the Service Order (and if not specified, a monthly Charging Period applies).

  • recharging point means an interface that is capable of charging one electric vehicle at a time or exchanging a battery of one electric vehicle at a time;

  • charging hours means any period specified in Column 7 of the Schedule in respect of which a charge is specified in Article 4

  • Charging Year means a year commencing on 1 April;

  • Charging Energy means the amount of Energy withdrawn from the Utility Distribution Company’s electrical system, Participating Transmission Owner’s electrical system or the CAISO Grid to be stored by the Units of the Project.

  • Capacity Charge means a charge for public facilities in existence at the time a charge is imposed or charges for new public facilities to be acquired or constructed in the future that are of proportional benefit to the person or property being charged, including supply or capacity contracts for rights or entitlements, real property interests, and entitlements and other rights of the local agency involving capital expense relating to its use of existing or new public facilities. A “capacity charge” does not include a commodity charge.

  • Not off-vehicle charging hybrid electric vehicle (NOVC-HEV) means a hybrid electric vehicle that cannot be charged from an external source.

  • Off-vehicle charging hybrid electric vehicle (OVC-HEV) means a hybrid electric vehicle that can be charged from an external source.

  • Dusting aid means a product designed or labeled to assist in removing dust and other soils from floors and other surfaces without leaving a wax or silicone based coating. “Dusting Aid” does not include “Pressurized Gas Duster.”

  • Monthly Charge shall have the meaning set forth in Article 5.

  • Monthly Charges means a finance carrying charge of one and one-half of one percent (1.5%) and a storage and handling charge of one-half of one percent (0.5%), in each case of the Cost of the Inventory and/or Special Inventory and/or of the fees for the Product affected by the reschedule or cancellation (as applicable) per month until such Inventory and/or Special Inventory and/or Product is returned to the vendor, used to manufacture Product or is otherwise purchased by Customer.

  • Charging Structure means the structure to be used in the establishment of the charging model which is applicable to each Call-Off Agreement, which structure is set out in Framework Schedule 3 (Charging Structure);

  • Assigned Annual Special Tax means the Special Tax of that name described in Section D.

  • Usual and customary charge means the average amount charged by most providers for treatment, service or supplies in the geographic area where the treatment, service or supply is provided.

  • Administrative Charge means, with respect to any Lease, any payment (whether or not part of the fixed monthly payment) payable to the related Lessor representing a disposition fee, a late payment fee, an Extension Fee, an allocation to the related Lessee of insurance premiums, sales, personal property or excise taxes or any other similar charge.

  • Usual and Customary Charges means those comparable charges for similar treatment, services and supplies in the geographic area where treatment is performed.

  • Reasonable and Customary Charges means the charges for services or supplies, which are the standard charges for the specific provider and consistent with the prevailing charges in the geographical area for identical or similar services, taking into account the nature of the illness / injury involved.

  • Monthly Volume means the product of the Committed Volume multiplied by the number of days in the relevant month.

  • Applicable Wages means the basic straight time wages for all hours worked, including:

  • Charging party means any person alleging an unfair employment practice under this chapter by filing a complaint with the office of civil rights.

  • Service Charge means the amount charged for making a service available on line and is in addition to the actual fee for a service itself. For example, one who renews a license on line will pay the license renewal fee and a service charge.

  • Marginal farmer means a cultivator with an unirrigated land holding up to one hectare or irrigated land holding up to half hectare;

  • Minimum Charge means the higher of the rate minimum and the rate applied to the Contracted Minimum Demand;

  • Electric vehicle charging station or “charging station” means any level of electric vehicle supply equipment station that is designed and built in compliance with Article 625 of the California Electrical Code, as it reads on the effective date of this Chapter, and delivers electricity from a source outside an electric vehicle into a plug-in electric vehicle.

  • PDP Reserves means Proven Reserves which are categorized as both "Developed" and "Producing" in the definitions promulgated by the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers and the World Petroleum Congress as in effect at the time in question.

  • Service Charges means the fees levied by the municipality in terms of its tariff policy for any municipal services rendered in respect of an immovable property and includes any penalties, interest or surcharges levied or imposed in terms of this policy.
