You Could be Held Legally Liable. When you choose to go public with your opinions, comments or content, you are legally responsible. Individuals can be held personally liable for any commentary deemed to be false, unsubstantiated, defamatory, obscene, proprietary to, or owned by, others, or libelous to Supplier, suppliers/partners or any other person or entity. For these reasons, you should exercise caution with regard to exaggeration, colorful language, guesswork, obscenity, the materials you use, conclusions, images and/or video that may post, and derogatory remarks or characterizations. In essence, you make statements at your own risk. Outside parties actually can pursue legal action against you for statements or postings you make. To ensure you don’t make any statements about the products or services of Supplier that are false, misleading or not properly substantiated, you should only make statements about Suppliers products and services are approved in advance by Supplier. You also agree to be available for guidance and training to make sure your statements are truthful and substantiated.

  • Other Legal Requirements The references to particular laws of the State of New York in this Article, in Exhibit C and elsewhere in this Agreement are not intended to be exclusive and nothing contained in such Article, Exhibit and Agreement shall be deemed to modify the obligations of the Contractor to comply with all legal requirements.

  • Money Held by Global Agent Money paid by Freddie Mac to the Global Agent for payment of amounts owing with respect to the Notes may be dealt with by the Global Agent in the same manner as other money paid to it as a banker by its customers except that (i) it may not exercise any lien, right of set-off or similar claim in respect of such sums and (ii) except as otherwise set forth in Section 7(a) above, it shall not be liable to anyone for interest on any sums held by it under this Agreement.
