Common use of Workday and Workweek Clause in Contracts

Workday and Workweek. (a) The workday shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours with due regard for time off for meal period, and the workweek shall be any five (5) out of seven (7) consecutive days starting at 8 p.m. Sunday through midnight Saturday, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement. It is understood that the period between 8 p.m. and midnight Sunday will be considered as Monday for purposes of workday as well as holiday observance.

It is understood that the period between 8 p.m. and midnight Sunday will be considered as Monday for purposes of workday as well as holiday observancea two (2) week period.
