Work Hours. 25.1 The standard work week shall consist of seven (7) days, eight (8) hours a day and begins at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday and ends at midnight on Saturday, or at the option of the Chief of Police up to ten (10) hours per day, four day work week. During the standard work week, employees will normally be scheduled to work forty (40) hours. The Employer retains the right to make occasional changes or temporary adjustments in the schedule. The Employer retains the right to require employees to work overtime.
