Common use of Work Boots Clause in Contracts

Work Boots. The Employer shall reimburse a regular full-time employee up to a maximum of one hundred dollars per year for safety-toed boots, or equivalent, for use on-the-job. A corresponding receipt and signed claims voucher must be submitted to the Superintendent of Highways for approval before submission of the claim to the Comptroller for processing. Any taxes paid on the purchase shall not be reimbursed. A seasonal full-time employee or supplemental employee is not eligible for the boot allowance.

A corresponding receipt and signed claims voucher must be submitted to the Superintendent of Highways employee’s Department Head for approval before submission of the claim to the Comptroller for processing. Any taxes paid on the purchase shall not be reimbursed. A seasonal full-time employee employee, seasonal part-time employee, or supplemental employee who is not required to wear safety-toed work boots is also eligible for the boot allowance.
