Witness Service. Service in court when subpoenaed as a witness on behalf of the City, or when called by the City as an expert on a matter of City concern or relating to a municipal function, will be treated the same as jury duty. Witness service for purpose other than just described will be covered by personal leave or leave without pay, and any fees received in this connection may be retained by the employee.
