Witness Service. 1. A nurse subpoenaed as a witness in a legal proceeding will be permitted the necessary time off from scheduled work to perform such service. The nurse must furnish his or her supervisor with a copy of the subpoena or a signed statement from the attorney issuing the subpoena, as soon as it is received, to be eligible for witness service leave.
