Where the President. cannot provide a guarantee of a reasonable job offer, the President will provide 120 days to opting employees to consider the three Options outlined in Part VI of this Appendix before a decision is required of them. If the opting employee fails to select an option no later than the 120th day, the employee will be deemed to have selected Option (a); that is, the Twelve-month surplus priority period in which to secure a reasonable job offer.
