Voluntary Request to Return from Promotion. An employee who has accepted a promotion and then, within 30 working days of appointment to the new position, requests to return to his/her old position, shall be returned to the position formerly held at the first opportunity when the position is vacant and to be filled, provided such vacancy occurs within one year of the employee's request to return to his/her former position.
