Common use of Veterans’ Rights Clause in Contracts

Veterans’ Rights. Re-employment rights of veterans will be in accordance with applicable Federal law. Employees who are in some branch of the Armed Forces Reserve or the National Guard will be paid the difference between their reserve pay and their regular pay when they are on full-time active duty in the Reserves or the National Guard, provided proof of service and pay are submitted. A maximum of three (3) weeks pay per year shall apply.

Employees who are in some branch of the Armed Forces Reserve or the National Guard will be paid the difference between their reserve pay and their regular pay, if their regular pay exceeds their military pay. In addition to any pay differential, an employee may use accrued vacation leave when they are he is on full-time time, active duty in the Reserves Reserve or the National Guard, provided proof of service and pay are submitted. A maximum of three fifteen (315) weeks pay calendar days per year shall applyapply to any pay differential.
