Common use of VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT STATUS Clause in Contracts

VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT STATUS. Prior to the employment of any person performing services under this contract, the CONSULTANT shall utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of: (a) all employees within the State of Florida that are hired by the CONSULTANT after the execution of the contract who are providing labor under the contract during the contract term; and, (b) all employees within the State of Florida of any of the CONSULTANT’S sub-consultants that are hired by those sub- consultants after the execution of the contract who are providing labor under the contract during the contract term.
