Vacation Increments. An employee may, with Company approval obtained by the end of the prior work day, also use vacation in 2 hour or 4 hour segments. Approval will be based on business needs and will not be grievable. Use of vacation in 2 hour or 4 hour increments will be limited to the beginning or end of the employee’s work day, and generally will not be approved for the end of the shift on the day preceding a holiday.
