USING YOUR ACCOUNT. If you are approved for an account, the Credit Union will establish a line of credit for you. You agree that your credit limit is the maximum amount (purchases, cash advances, finance charges, plus "other charges") which you will have outstanding on your account at any time. Unless disclosed otherwise, the Credit Union will not allow advances over the credit limit. If the Credit Union has a program whereby it allows payment of advances that exceed your credit limit, subject to a fee, the Credit Union will provide you with notice, either orally, in writing, or electronically (notwithstanding the requirements of the paragraph entitled “Statements and Notices”) explaining your right to opt in to the Credit Union’s program whereby it will honor advance requests over the credit limit. Convenience checks paid by the Credit Union will not be returned to you with your periodic statement. USING YOUR ACCOUNT. All cards are our property and you mustn't use your card for any illegal purposes. Your card is for personal use and you shouldn't use it for business purposes. If we're worried your card is being misused, we can put a stop on it. When your account is first opened we may send you are approved for an accountaccount information, the Credit Union will establish a line of credit for yousuch as your account number, so that you can start making limited transactions before your card arrives. You agree that can also ask us to make a balance transfer straight away (this is a transfer of funds from your card to reduce the amount you owe on other credit cards, store cards or loans or to a bank account in your name). When you receive your card, we may ask you to activate it before using it to make transactions. Managing your credit limit is If we reduce your credit limit based on an assessment of risk or your ability to repay, we have the maximum amount right to not give you any notice beforehand if we think this would not be appropriate. (purchasesHowever, cash advances, finance chargeswe may choose to give you up to seven days' notice.) We won't reduce your credit limit to less than your total outstanding balance, plus "other charges") which any transactions authorised but not yet charged to your account. If we increase your credit limit we'll give you 30 days' notice unless you've asked for the increase yourself. When you receive this notice you can tell us not to increase your credit limit. You can also tell us not to increase your credit limit at any time in the future or tell us at any time if you want to reduce your credit limit. The Credit Union will not be liable for any fees you incur as a result of the Credit Union’s failure to honor a convenience check that is converted to an ACH debit. Your periodic statement will show you an itemization of the convenience checks posted to your account during the billing cycle. Convenience checks paid by the Credit Union will not be returned to you with your periodic statement. Convenience checks are the Credit Union’s property; the Credit Union reserves the right to revoke them at any time. You agree to return them at the Credit Union’s request.

In addition, the Credit Union may permit you to obtain cash advances from the Credit Union, from other financial institutions that accept your card or select merchants participating in the Visa program, and from some automated teller machines (ATMs) that provide access to the Visa system. (Not all merchants or ATMs provide such access.) If the Credit Union authorizes ATM transactions with your card, it will issue you a personal identification number (PIN). To obtain cash advances from an ATM, you must use the PIN that is issued to you for use with your card. Finally, you may use your account to transfer balances from other creditors, provided that we approve your request. Your periodic statement will show you an itemization of the convenience checks posted to your account during the billing cycle.
