Common use of – Use of City Vehicles / Equipment Clause in Contracts

– Use of City Vehicles / Equipment. City vehicles are to be used for city business only. No vehicle will be used for personal errands during working hours or after hours unless permission is obtained from the city. It is the responsibility of the assigned employee to keep the vehicle clean and checked regularly. No employees will be allowed in city vehicles unless on duty and clocked in unless specifically authorized by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. Persons not employed by the city will not be allowed in city vehicles for any reason unless specifically authorized by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. Violations of this section may be cause for disciplinary action.
