Common use of Unpaid Political Leave Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Political Leave. An Instructional Employee has the right to become a candidate for public office and to serve in such elective office. Leave for this purpose may be granted by the Board upon request by the Instructional Employee for a time not to exceed four (4) years.
