Common use of Transportation of Accident Victims Clause in Contracts

Transportation of Accident Victims. Transportation to the nearest physician or hospital for employees requiring medical care as a result of an on-the-job accident shall be at the expense of the Employer. The Employer shall ensure that adequate arrangements are made for the employee to return to the job site, assembly point or current local accommodation whichever is most appropriate to the employee's condition. Transportation will be provided or paid by the Employer. The Employer agrees to incorporate information in a joint Employer/Union developed safety booklet, on air transportation of an injured worker, pursuant to WCB Industrial First Aid Regulations.
