Mailbox Clause Samples
The Mailbox clause defines how and when communications sent by mail are considered received between parties to a contract. Typically, it specifies that notices or documents sent via postal mail are deemed delivered after a certain number of days, regardless of actual receipt, or upon delivery confirmation. This clause provides certainty and predictability regarding the timing of important contractual communications, reducing disputes over whether and when a notice was effectively delivered.
