Common use of Transfer of Unused Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Unused Sick Leave. A faculty member whose service with the District began on or after September 1, 1965, and who was employed by another California school District for not less than one school year immediately preceding employment by the District, shall have transferred to the District the total amount of unused sick leave to which the faculty member was entitled. This total must be certified, in writing, by an office of the former school district employer.
