Timing of Service Payment. The Settlement Administrator shall pay any 26 Service Payment within 13 business days of the Effective Date, and shall issue an IRS Form 1099 to 27 the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff shall be solely responsible for paying all applicable taxes on any Service 1 Payment and shall indemnify and hold harmless Defendant from any claim or liability for taxes, 2 penalties, or interest arising as a result of the Service Payment.
