Common use of Time Spent on Grievance Clause in Contracts

Time Spent on Grievance. Any time spent by any Federation representative, member of a Grievance Committee, or any other member of the bargaining unit, in connection with the grievance, shall be after his/her regular working hours and without pay. Any time spent by an employee submitting a grievance at hearings or otherwise in connection with the grievance procedure shall be without pay and said hearings and meetings will be after regular working hours, unless agreed to otherwise by the parties.
