Common use of Time Off in Lieu Clause in Contracts

Time Off in Lieu. 59.1 An Employee may elect, with the consent of the Company, to take time off in lieu of payment of overtime at a time or times agreed with the Company. Any time taken off in lieu will be during ordinary hours; that is an hour for each hour worked. Where the Employee has not taken time off within four weeks, the Employee will be paid for such time at the rates specified in Clause 35.

Any time taken off in lieu will be during all of work performed outside ordinary hours; that is an hour for each hour worked. Where the Employee has not taken , and such time off within four weeks, the Employee will may by agreement be paid for such time at the rates specified in Clause 35added to an employee’s annual leave entitlements.

Time Off in Lieu. 59.1 An Employee 65.1 Employees may elect, with the consent of the Company, to take time off in lieu of payment overtime worked subject to V/Line’s consent and at times mutually agreed, provided that such time off is taken on the basis of overtime at a time or times agreed with the Company. Any time taken one hour off in lieu will be during ordinary hours; that is an hour for each hour worked. Where the Employee has not taken of overtime worked during ordinary time off within four weekshours, the Employee will be paid for such at ordinary time at the rates specified in Clause 35rates.
