Time Off in Lieu. By mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee, the employee may take time off, calculated at the appropriate overtime rate, in lieu of overtime pay.
Time Off in Lieu. An employee who is eligible to be paid overtime shall as an alternative to such payment be entitled to choose time off equivalent to the extra time worked at the convenience of the employer.
Time Off in Lieu. 24.1.5.1 Any employee required to work overtime shall receive pay for this time unless time off at the appropriate overtime rate in lieu of pay is mutually agreed to by the employee and the Employer and the agreement is recorded in writing.
Time Off in Lieu. (a) Subject to mutual agreement in writing between the Employer and the employee, an employee may be compensated for working overtime in lieu of payment for such work by being allowed time off work at the following rate:
Time Off in Lieu. Overtime, work on a day off, or on a designated holiday, stand-by as per clause 16.13.5 and the meal displacement as per clause 17.5, shall be compensated in cash except that upon request of an employee, equivalent leave with pay shall be granted at times mutually agreeable to both the employee and the Employer.
Time Off in Lieu. Where overtime has been performed employees may elect to take compensatory time off in lieu of overtime pay. By mutual agreement between the employee(s) and the supervisor such time shall be arranged to suit work requirements. In no case shall time off in lieu of overtime be allowed to accumulate for longer than a period of one (1) calendar year from the time of election.
Time Off in Lieu. An employee may elect, subject to the approval of the Employer, to take time off in lieu of payment for overtime at a time or times agreed with the Employer. Overtime taken as time off during ordinary time hours will be taken at the ordinary time rate that is an hour for each hour worked. In the event that an employee’s employment is terminated prior to the time off in lieu being accessed such payment will be at ordinary time rate. Calculation of Overtime Overtime will be paid in actual minutes worked.
Time Off in Lieu. (TOIL) of payment for overtime hours worked may be taken at the employee’s option. TOIL is earned on the basis of one hour off for each overtime hour worked. Scheduling of such time off shall be done by the employee with his Leader’s approval and TOIL should be normally taken within three months of it having been earned.
Time Off in Lieu. 44.1 The maximum amount of time off in lieu that employees may accrue is 80 hours, instead of the 40 hours specified in By-law 37.10(b).
Time Off in Lieu. In lieu of receiving payment for overtime worked in accordance with this clause, employees may choose, with the consent of the employer, to take time off, for a period of time equivalent to 1.5 times the amount of time worked for part or all of work performed outside ordinary hours, and such time off may by agreement be added to an employee’s annual leave entitlements.
