Benefit Waiting Period Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for and takes leave pursuant to 21.1 or 21.2 and is required by Employment Insurance to serve a one-week waiting period for Employment Insurance Maternity/Parental benefits, shall be paid a leave allowance equivalent to one week at 85% of the employee's basic pay.
Contribution Formula - Basic Life Coverage For employee basic life coverage and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, the Employer contributes one-hundred (100) percent of the cost.
One Year All full-time employees who have been continuously employed by the Employer for one (1) year shall receive one (1) week’s vacation with full pay.
Contribution Formula Health Coverage a. Faculty Member Coverage. For faculty member health coverage for the 2018 2022 and 2019 2023 plan years, the Employer contributes an amount equal to ninety-five percent (95%) of the employee- only premium of the Minnesota Advantage Health Plan (Advantage).
STEP II 18.3.2.1 If the employee desires to appeal the grievance to Step II, the grievance shall be reduced to writing and presented to the Department Director or his/her designated representative, within five (5) working days following the receipt of the immediate supervisor's oral reply.

Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.
Step Three a. If the grievance is not resolved within ten (10) working days of the referral to Step Two in Article A.6.3.a the local may, within a further ten (10) working days, by letter to the superintendent or official designated by the district, refer the grievance to Step Three of the grievance procedure. Two representatives of the local and two representatives of the employer shall meet within ten (10) working days and attempt to resolve the grievance. If both parties agree and the language of the previous Local Agreement stipulates:
