The Employer recognizes C. S.E.A./AFSCME, AFL-CIO LOCAL 1000 (hereafter referred to as C.S.E.A.) as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent and representative for all County employees for the purpose of collective negotiations of all terms and conditions of employment and administration of grievances for the maximum period of time stipulated under Section 208 (2) of the Public Employees Fair Employment Act.

  • The Employer This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the Employer and its successors and assigns. The Bancorp and the Bank will each require any successor to it (whether direct or indirect, by stock or asset purchase, merger, consolidation or otherwise) or to all or substantially all of its business or assets to assume expressly and agree to perform this Agreement in the same manner and to the same extent it would be required to perform it if no such succession had taken place.

  • Employment at Will Nothing in this Agreement or in the Plan shall confer upon Participant any right to continue in Service for any period of specific duration or interfere with or otherwise restrict in any way the rights of the Corporation (or any Parent or Subsidiary employing or retaining Participant) or of Participant, which rights are hereby expressly reserved by each, to terminate Participant’s Service at any time for any reason, with or without cause.

  • Employer Rules The Employer may establish reasonable work rules necessary to regulate employees’ conduct at work. Work rules shall be reviewed with new employees, conspicuously posted and made available to all employees. The Employer may require new employees to sign a form provided by that Employer to confirm their understanding of the work rules. The Employer will advise the Union of any proposed changes to the work rules thirty (30) days in advance.   • Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance by delivering the same in writing to the President of the Local Union and the President shall answer such grievance in writing within five working (5) days. If the answer is not acceptable to the Employer, the Employer may, within ten (10) working days from the day the President gives her answer, give ten (10) working days notice to the President of the Local Union of its intention to refer the dispute to arbitration.
