Common use of The Business Agent and the President Clause in Contracts

The Business Agent and the President. of the Union or a designated Union representative shall be admitted at all times into the work areas covered by this Agreement. Upon entry at a work location, the Union representative shall advise the supervisor of their presence, describing the reasons for their visit. The Union representative shall also inform the supervisor of the work area being visited when leaving the work area. No visit from the Union representative shall interfere with effective operations of the work unit.
