TERMS OF PAYMENT 5. 2.1 The Employer shall pay the Consultant's remuneration to the account named in Annex 2 [Remuneration and Invoicing] and Annex 3 [Terms of Reference], according to the following schedule: - 20% of the contract amount as advance payment upon contract signature - Instalments upon completion of the task/s in a satisfactory manner for the Employer and upon presentation of the fiscal invoice. In any case, the Employer shall have the right to suspend payment of instalments at any stage in the event of substantial deviations from the time schedule and/or insufficient performance on the part of the Consultant. 5.2.2 Unless otherwise agreed, payments shall be made within a period of 60 calendar days after receipt of the invoice by the Employer. 5.2.3 Optional services as per paragraph 4.1.2. will be settled in connection with the final invoice.
