Teaching or Coaching Duties. Employees may accept an employment appointments for teaching or coaching duties performed outside their regularly assigned work schedule with the approval of the immediate supervisor and the Academic Vice President. All such employment appointments are subject to compensation requirements per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Such appointments shall be limited to one (1) or more courses of no more than three (3) credit hours per semester in each of the fall and spring semesters, and one (1) summer term, but it is otherwise understood that the terms and conditions of such employment are not covered by or subject to this Agreement.
