System Access Management and Information Accessibility Requirements. 4.17.6.1 The Contractor’s System shall employ an access management function that restricts access to varying hierarchical levels of system functionality and Information. The access management function shall: • Restrict access to Information on a "need to know" basis, e.g. users permitted inquiry privileges only will not be permitted to modify information; • Restrict access to specific system functions and information based on an individual user profile, including inquiry only capabilities; global access to all functions will be restricted to specified staff jointly agreed to by DCH and the Contractor; and • Restrict attempts to access system functions (both internal and external) to three (3), with a system function that automatically prevents further access attempts and records these occurrences. • At a minimum, follow the GTA Security Standard and Access Management protocols.
