Layoffs When an appointing authority determines that a reduction in force is necessary, implementation of that reduction in force will proceed as follows:
LAYOFFS AND RECALLS 17.01 Both parties recognize that job security should increase in proportion to length of service. Therefore, in the event of a layoff, employees shall be laid off in the reverse order of seniority. Employees shall be recalled in order of their seniority providing they are qualified to do the work.
SENIORITY AND LAYOFFS 11.01 Seniority of employees shall be recognized within their respective trade and job classifications. New employees shall be placed on the seniority list upon the completion of their probationary period and their respective seniority shall be dated back to the date of their most recent hiring.
VACANCIES, PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS A. The Board recognizes that it is desirable in making assignments to consider the interests and aspirations of its teachers. Requests by a teacher for transfer to a different class, building or position shall be made in writing, one copy of which shall be filed with the Superintendent and one copy shall be filed with the Association. The application shall set forth the reasons for transfer, the school, grade or position sought, and the applicant's academic qualifications. Such requests shall be renewed once each year to assure active consideration by the Board.
Privileges of Stock Ownership Optionee shall have no rights as a shareholder with respect to the Bancorp’s stock subject to this option until the date of issuance of stock certificates to Optionee. Future SFS procurement functionality envisions the ability to fully host Contract catalogs, to integrate Contractor-hosted punch-out catalogs, and/or to submit and process invoices electronically. OGS reserves the right to integrate any or all of these future catalog functions with a Contractor during the contract period, and by submittal of a Vendor Submission, a Vendor agrees to coordinate with SFS, OGS and/or a third party host, for integration, if OGS exercises its right to do so. No costs or expenses associated with providing information and integration shall be charged to NYS. Technical Requirements for the data elements, such as data types, maximum field lengths, and cXML element names shall be provided by SFS, OGS and/or a third party host during integration. International or National Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $30,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of international or national shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.
School Closures L13.13 Where a school is scheduled to close at the end of a school year, the transfer or placement for the following school year of a Teacher in that school will be considered prior to transfer under L13.8.
