Job (a) In promotion progression, transfer and filling new positions the primary consideration shall be ability to perform the work efficiently, but seniority shall rule where ability is equal. These employees may be placed in temporary head caretaker positions have different supervisors and all provisions of the collective agreement between the parties will apply to all such applications: (a) An employee will not be considered for a second part time position if there is not sufficient time between the scheduled working times of the two positions to permit the employee to report to work on time and to have any normal discussions with supervisor. An employee is not entitled to hold two positions with the Board if the combined scheduled working hours exceed eight hours in any day or hours in a week and no overtime pay shall be payable for such regularly scheduled working hours. It is understood that the Secretary-Treasurer acting on behalf of the Board may select professional development sessions to be attended on a non-instructional date by an employee who holds more than one part time positionas they are available.

In the event there is no vacant position, no new position, or a less senior member within the employee is not able or does not wish geographic location, the affected employee(s) will bump the least senior employee(s) in the bargaining unit. For the purpose of this clause, geographic location refers to complete the limited training group of elementary schools that feed into one common junior high. 9.06 Prior to any affected employees being notified of a crosswalk closing, the Employer will meet and familiarization or trial period, inform Local Representatives of the information outlined below.
