SPECIAL TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS. A. The Board agrees at all times to maintain an adequate list of substitute teachers. Teachers shall be informed of a telephone number they will call no later than one and one-half (1 1/2) hours prior to the start of the student classes to report unavailability for work.

SPECIAL TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS. A. The Board agrees at all times agrees, to the best of its ability, to maintain an adequate list of substitute teachers. Teachers shall be informed of a telephone number they will call at least one (1) hour before scheduled reporting time or no later than one and one-half (1 1/2) hours prior to the start of the student classes 6:30 a.m., whichever is earlier, to report unavailability for work. It is understood that earlier calls are desirable to ensure adequate substitute coverage. Once a teacher has reported unavailability, it shall be the responsibility of the administration to arrange for a substitute teacher.
