Sick Leave and Short Term Disability. 14.01 (a) Full-time nurses earn one (1) sick day each month during which they are actually working for the Employer up to a maximum of twelve (12) days. For these purposes, one (1) day equals seven point five (7.5) hours. A maximum of six (6) sick days can be carried over from one calendar year into the next. Unused sick days will not be paid out annually or upon cessation of employment.
