Shire’s Covenants. 4.1. Shire acknowledges the use of contractors The Shire may, in performing any works on the Roads, undertake the work itself oremploy such contractors as it deems appropriate, in its absolute discretion (provided that in the latter case it must procure that the contractor complies with the obligations under this Agreement that would apply to the Shire if it was undertaking the works itself). Except in the case of urgent or emergency works, theShire will use its reasonable endeavours to provide reasonable notice of such works to the Road User.
