Security Guards Uniformed employees of the Company designated as Security Guards, whether full time or part time, who are assigned to a client work site for purposes of providing guard services, including but not limited to, the monitoring of entry and exit; ensuring security and protection of property and building; carrying out standing orders; crowd control; carrying out duties specifically pertaining to the client's contract; enforcing Provincial and Federal statutes; reporting of incidents; public and client relations; and other duties normally associated with security guard services, including strike duties where required.
Warranty/Guarantee 14.1.1 Developer shall obtain and preserve for the benefit of the District, manufacturer’s warranties on materials, fixtures, and equipment incorporated into the Work.
No Quantity Guarantees The System Agency makes no guarantee of volume or usage of work under this Contract. All Work requested may be on an irregular and as needed basis throughout the Contract term.
Verification of Sick Leave 1. An employee who shall be absent on sick leave for three (3) or more consecutive working days shall be required to submit acceptable medical evidence substantiating the illness.
Exhaustion of Sick Leave For reasons valid under the conditions specified in this collective bargaining agreement for sick leave, anyone who exhausts sick leave will be granted leave without pay due to the exhaustion of sick leave. The stipulations of the bargaining contract apply regarding licensed health care provider verification, etc.
Weekly Guarantee Apprentices must be employed a minimum of forty (40) hours per week.
Benefit to Citizens of Xxxxxxx County The safety of the citizens of Xxxxxxx County is enhanced through this Agreement, which promotes safe boating conditions and reduces costs associated with patrols of recreational waterways.
Security Awareness and Training We have implemented and maintain an information security and awareness program that is delivered to employees and appropriate contractors at the time of hire or contract commencement and annually thereafter. The awareness program is delivered electronically and includes a testing aspect with minimum requirements to pass. Additionally, development staff members are provided with secure code development training.
Contractor and Employee Security Precautions A. The security aspects of working at the Correctional Facility are critical. The following security precautions are part of the site conditions and are a part of this Contract. All persons coming on the site in any way connected with this Work shall be made aware of them, and it is the (General) Contractor’s responsibility to check and enforce them.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave An eligible employee who is reinstated or reappointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing, or retirement shall have their accumulated but unused sick leave balance restored and posted to their credit in the records of the employing department provided such sick leave was accrued in accordance with the personnel rules or the provisions of this Agreement. An employee who receives severance pay, and returns to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement, shall have their sick leave balance restored at sixty percent (60%) of the employee’s first nine-hundred (900) hours of accumulated but unused sick leave, plus eighty-seven and one-half percent (87½%) of the employee’s accumulated but unused sick leave in excess of nine-hundred (900) hours. Upon request, employees of the legislative branch who transfer or who are appointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement shall have accumulated unused sick leave posted to the employee's credit provided such sick leave was accrued in accordance with the personnel rules or the provisions of this Agreement.
