Scoring of Components. Each component of the promotional test listed above shall be scored on the scale of 100 points. The component scores shall then be reduced by the weighting factor assigned to the component on the test, as described above, and the scores of all components shall be added together. Thereafter, seniority points and military preference points shall be awarded as provided in Section 18.7.
