Common use of Scheduled Overtime Work Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Overtime Work. Scheduled overtime work will be offered to seniority employees prior to all other employees on the same shift except in those instances where seniority employees are not readily available. Readily available is defined as the employee not being on a leave status and is present at work or at home when called at the time the overtime work is being scheduled and is in the division in which the overtime will be worked. When limited duration employees are used as part of a crew involved in a specific work task, they will be allowed to work the overtime that is involved with that specific work task.
