Common use of Rosters Clause in Contracts

Rosters. Where practicable, rosters will be drawn up in consultation with employees and provide adequate meal breaks and rostered days off. It is the employers policy that where possible rostered days off duty be constant. In addition, it is the employer's policy that rosters are to be drawn up with full consideration being given to health and safety considerations in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy of the employer. Any changes in shifts or roster times to be authorised and signed off by the employer should they deem the change will not effect, to the detriment, the performance in the restaurant. Rosters may be changed by the employer giving not less than two (2) day's notice or, in the case of an emergency, 24 hours notice. If the employer and employee mutually agree, a change of roster may occur at an agreed lesser period than that specified in this clause.
