Right to Release - General. Subject to paragraphs (b), (c), (d) and (e) below and section 19, the NHL may release an official at any time for the reason of substandard performance, substandard conditioning, insubordinate conduct and/or attitude, wilful non-compliance with established League rules or policy and/or for any other reason permitted by law, by providing notice of release verbally and in writing to the official, with notice also being provided to the Executive Director of the NHLOA. Such notice shall state the reason for release.

  • Right to Respond Employees will be given a copy of any and all material that may be used against them in a disciplinary action at the time that it is placed in the file. Explanatory rebuttal statements can be attached to the material housed in the file provided such statement is made within ten (10) working days after the employee receives the material. Any reference to allegations that are investigated and determined to be unfounded shall be removed from an employee’s file.

  • Right to Refuse Unsafe Work Employees have the right to refuse to perform unsafe work pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations of the Workers Compensation Act.

  • Photo Release The Resident grants to University permission to: record Resident's participation and appearance on videotape, audiotape, film, photograph or any other medium; use Resident's name, likeness, voice and biographical material in connection with such recordings; exhibit or distribute such recordings in whole or in part without restrictions or limitation for any legal purpose, including without limitation educational or promotional purposes, which the University and those acting pursuant to its authority deem appropriate; and copyright such recordings in its own name or to publish, to market and to assign without consideration, compensation or report to Resident.

  • Right to Privacy 89. Employees will have a reasonable expectation of privacy when a department formally allows employees a closed work area as a locker and/or desk drawer with an individual key.

  • Right to Refuse Overtime All employees shall have the right to refuse to work overtime, except when required to do so in emergency situations, without being subject to disciplinary action for so refusing.
