Results of Market Study. The market study received a limited number of responses. Out of the 170 selected recipients who were invited to respond, a total of 26 completed the survey, 16 started but did not complete the survey and 14 opted out of participating. This gives a response rate of 33%. The information retrieved from the study is therefore considered qualitative rather than quantitative and most trends will require additional market probes prior to rollout. However, some patterns and trends were nearly unanimous across all the responses and can be interpreted as strong indications, e.g. attitudes to Open Source software.
