Common use of Requests for Leave Clause in Contracts

Requests for Leave. (a) An employee may request a leave of absence, for up to one (1) year, without pay, and such request shall be submitted, in writing to the Employer for approval. Except for unforeseen circumstances, all requests for leave of absence shall be submitted in writing one (1) month in advance of the date the leave is to commence.
