Request for Leaves Sample Clauses

The Request for Leaves clause outlines the process by which an employee must formally notify their employer when seeking time off from work. Typically, this clause specifies the required notice period, the acceptable methods for submitting a leave request (such as written or electronic communication), and any documentation that may be needed, like a medical certificate for sick leave. Its core practical function is to ensure that both the employer and employee have a clear, standardized procedure for managing absences, thereby minimizing disruptions to business operations and maintaining transparency.
