Common use of Relationship to National Employment Standards Clause in Contracts

Relationship to National Employment Standards. The entitlements in this Agreement are intended to be applied in satisfaction of, and not in addition to, any entitlements Employees may have under the National Employment Standards (“NES”). The Agreement is read and interpreted in conjunction with the NES. Where there is an inconsistency between this Agreement and the NES, and the NES provides a greater benefit, the NES provision will apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
