Recruitments. The parties agree the goal of each employment recruitment for the City of Yreka shall be to select the most qualified candidate for each position. To that end, the City’s recruitment procedure shall be conducted, at the discretion of the City Manager, or his/her designee, on a “promotional” basis (all non-probationary City employees who meet the qualifications) and/or, on an “open competitive” basis (all individuals who meet the qualifications). A job announcement will be sent to each City job site having an employee bulletin board and emailed to City employees. Each job shall have a filing period of not less than five (5) working days. Any eligible City employee may apply for any announced vacancy. Generally the City will advertise the job announcements in the local newspaper and may advertise with other publications or resources known to attract qualified candidates.

Recruitments. 8.1 When a vacancy exists in the competitive service for an entry-level position, or a closed promotional recruitment has not filled a vacancy, the Human Resources Department shall, with the approval of the appointing authority, post a notice of examination (job announcement) open to current part-time and temporary employees only (internal recruitment). Part-time and temporary employees must have been employed for a minimum of six {6) months by the time the recruitment announcement closes. An internal employment list shall be prepared after an examination is administered to qualified part-time and temporary employee applicants. Unit members shall also have those rights afforded by Rule V, Section 6 of the City's Personnel Rules.

Recruitments. Recruitments shall clearly specify that the recruitment may be used to fill future vacant positions. When a position is posted the pool of qualified candidates may be used to fill multiple current and future vacancies within a classification for up to eighteen (18) months from the final posting date. Employee-candidates within the pool shall be referred to available vacancies based on their overall qualifications as well as specific qualifications, skills and preferences for particular vacancies.

All such advertisements will be placed in publications having a large circulation among minorities and women in the area from which the project work force would normally be derived.

  • Non-Recruitment The Executive agrees that the Company has invested substantial time and effort in assembling its present workforce.   • Workforce A. The Contractor shall employ only orderly and competent workers, skilled in the performance of the services which they will perform under the Contract.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Personnel Provide, without remuneration from or other cost to the Trust, the services of individuals competent to perform the administrative functions which are not performed by employees or other agents engaged by the Trust or by the Adviser acting in some other capacity pursuant to a separate agreement or arrangement with the Trust.

  • Supervisory Employees For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria:
