Common use of Rate of Progress Clause in Contracts

Rate of Progress. The Attention of the tenderers. is directed to the contract requirements as to the time of beginning work, the rate of progress and the dates for the completion of the whole work and its several parts. The following rate of progress and proportionate value of work done from time to time, as will be indicated by the Exe. Engineer certificate of the value of work done, will be required. Date of commencement of these programmes will be the date on which the site (or premises) is handed over to the contractor.
