Common use of Purpose of Procedure Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Procedure. The Board recognizes that in the interest of effective personnel management, a procedure is necessary whereby its Unit Members can be assured of a prompt, impartial and fair hearing on their grievances. Such procedures shall be available to all Unit Members and no reprisal shall be taken against any Unit Member initiating or participating in the grievance procedure.
