PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT. 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between NAV CANADA, the Association and the employees, and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining.

Accordingly they wish to promote an effective working relationship and the well being of employees of the Agency, in order that the people of Canada will be well and efficiently served.
