Scholarship A requirement for tenure or for promotion to any rank is evidence of scholarly activity and achievement, or creative work in the performing and fine arts, and recognition of one's work by academic peers. Evidence of scholarship or its equivalent includes:
Destination CSU-Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between FRCC and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Art in Music Education. This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.
Scholarships (4) Fellowships.
Professional Preparation and Scholarship The certificated classroom teacher 39 exhibits, in his/her/performance evidence of having a theoretical background and knowledge of the 40 principles and methods of teaching, and a commitment to education as a profession.
Tuition The Charter School shall not charge tuition or fees to its students except as may be authorized for local boards pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20-2-133.
Vision The University shall make available vision insurance to the staff members covered by this agreement to the same extent and in the same manner as is available to other University staff members, such as Faculty and the Executive, Administrative and Professional Staff members. It is the University's goal to have the same vision insurance plan(s) offered uniformly to all University staff member groups and staff members.
Dental The Hospital agrees to contribute seventy-five percent (75%) of the billed premiums towards coverage of eligible employees in the active employ of the hospital under the Liberty Health Dental Plan #9 (or its equivalent) based on the current ODA fee schedule provided the balance of the monthly premiums are paid by the participating employees through payroll deduction. Employees will be enrolled in the existing Plan in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Plan. The Plan shall provide for recall oral examination to be covered once every 9 months. Effective April 1, 2001, orthodontic coverage will be included for participating employees on a 50/50 co-insurance basis, with a lifetime maximum of $1,000 per insured person.
Orthodontics We Cover orthodontics used to help restore oral structures to health and function and to treat serious medical conditions such as: cleft palate and cleft lip; maxillary/mandibular micrognathia (underdeveloped upper or lower jaw); extreme mandibular prognathism; severe asymmetry (craniofacial anomalies); ankylosis of the temporomandibular joint; and other significant skeletal dysplasias. Procedures include but are not limited to: • Rapid Palatal Expansion (RPE); • Placement of component parts (e.g. brackets, bands); • Interceptive orthodontic treatment; • Comprehensive orthodontic treatment (during which orthodontic appliances are placed for active treatment and periodically adjusted); • Removable appliance therapy; and • Orthodontic retention (removal of appliances, construction and placement of retainers).
Hospitalization In the event an employee is hospitalized overnight, the employee will have access to their EIB accrual at the first day of absence due to the hospitalization. Same day surgery, if requiring five (5) or more days of recovery, may also be paid from the employee’s EIB account.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance 12.05(a) The City shall provide for all employees by contract through an insurer selected by the City, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance which provides for two (2) times the employee’s annual salary rounded to the next higher $1,000, if not a multiple thereof, if the employee’s death is as a result of an accident. The City shall pay one hundred per cent (100%) of the premiums.
