Public Works Installation work which is considered public works is excluded from purchase under this Contract. Historically, the New York State Bureau of Public Works has maintained that installation, maintenance and repair of equipment attached to any wall, ceiling or floor or affixed by hard wiring or plumbing is public work. In contrast, installation of a piece of equipment which is portable or a “plug-in” free-standing unit would not be considered public work. Thus, this Contract does not authorize installation where the equipment becomes a permanent part of the building structure, or is otherwise incorporated into the fabric of the building (e.g., installation on a wall, ceiling or floor in a fixed location, or affixed by hard-wiring or plumbing). See Xxxxxxxx X, §00, Prevailing Wage Rates - Public Works and Building Services Contracts. Contractor’s Submittals The Contract shall submit with reasonable promptness consistent with the Work Project Schedule and in orderly sequence all Shop Drawings, Samples, or other information required by the Contract Documents, or subsequently required by Change Order. Prior to submitting, the Contractor shall review each submittal for compliance with the Contract Documents and certify its approval by an approval stamp affixed to each copy. Submittal data presented without the Contractor’s certification will be returned without review or comment, and any delay resulting from such certification is the Contractor's responsibility.
Schematic Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.
CONSTRUCTION/PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS In compliance with Article 8, Section 220 of the New York State Labor Law:
Project Implementation Manual The Recipient, through the PCU, shall: (i) take all action required to carry out Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4 (ii) of the Project in accordance with the provisions and requirements set forth or referred to in the Project Implementation Manual; (ii) submit recommendations to the Association for its consideration for changes and updates of the Project Implementation Manual as they may become necessary or advisable during Project implementation in order to achieve the objective of Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project; and (iii) not assign, amend, abrogate or waive the Project Implementation Manual or any of its provisions without the Association’s prior agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any of the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual is inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail and govern.
Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.
ELECTRICITY INFORMATION EXCHANGE PROTOCOLS 31.1 Protocols for exchanging information: The Distributor and the Trader must, when exchanging information to which an EIEP listed in Schedule 3 relates, comply with that EIEP.

COVID-19 Protocols Contractor will abide by all applicable COVID-19 protocols set forth in the District’s Reopening and COVID-19 Mitigation Plan and the safety guidelines for COVID-19 prevention established by the California Department of Public Health and the Ventura County Department of Public Health.
