Common use of Prohibition of Discrimination and Harassment Clause in Contracts

Prohibition of Discrimination and Harassment. Neither the Employer nor the Association, nor any Librarian covered by this Agreement shall discriminate against or harass any librarian or employee because of such librarian’s or employee’s race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, height, weight, marital status, or membership or non-membership in the Association or participation in Association activities. The Employer and the Association further agree that they shall comply with all applicable state, federal and local laws and administrative regulations pertaining to the handicapped and veterans.
