Professional Improvement Program Clause Samples
The Professional Improvement Program clause establishes a framework for ongoing professional development and skill enhancement for employees. Typically, it outlines the opportunities, requirements, or support provided for staff to participate in training, workshops, or further education relevant to their roles. By formalizing these opportunities, the clause ensures that employees remain current in their field and that the organization maintains a high standard of professional competence.
Professional Improvement Program. A teacher in the vocational areas may earn credit for professional improvement through community college courses, established workshops, or planned experiences in business and industry as approved by the principal of the building in which they has their teaching assignment. If formal credit is not granted, clock hours shall be equated to quarter hours on the basis of 30 to 1. Credit will not be given for routine work experience.
